I'm Angela
I am an independent family celebrant based in County Durham, creating warm, relaxed and deeply personal ceremonies across North East England.
Family is at the heart of who I am. I bring empathy, warmth and a calm, reassuring approach to every couple and family I work with. I listen carefully, ask the right questions and take time to understand the people and stories behind each celebration.
My background in primary education and school leadership has given me the confidence to speak to an audience, the ability to connect with people of all ages and the experience to remain calm when plans change. I also bring a genuine love of life, a good sense of humour and plenty of real-world experience.
Whether you are planning your first wedding, celebrating a new chapter together, renewing your vows or welcoming a child into your family, I will help you create a ceremony that feels joyful, meaningful and unmistakably yours.
