A vow renewal ceremony is a lovely way to celebrate and reaffirm your love and commitment to one another in front of the important people in your life.
This is your day - have it your way...
You are not limited by regulations or law when it comes to the content of your vow renewal ceremony and many couples like to involve family members – children, grandchildren, even pets! So...you can get creative and decide on something completely different from your wedding day, or keep it traditional... it's up to you. You can have input to your ceremony script or you can give me complete creative freedom to write your ceremony for you. You then have the option to make amendments to your script before the day.
You have the freedom to hold your vow renewal ceremony wherever you like and at a time of day to suit you.
You choose
Your vow renewal ceremony can be traditional, contemporary, formal, informal, romantic, serious, fun or as quirky as you like. You may wish to include readings, poems and songs. I can give you guidance and advice and you have complete freedom to choose. After all, it is your day!
You may decide you would like to write your own vows. Maybe you want your ceremony to include a spiritual element, symbolic actions, poems, songs or readings. Perhaps you would like to involve family and friends, children or grandchildren in the service. I can make it happen.
During your ceremony you will get the opportunity to sign a commemorative certificate which is a lovely keepsake of your special day, and your guests and photographer can capture the moment.

I’m a ‘Family Celebrant’ – a compassionate person, who knows what makes people tick. I have a calm and reassuring approach to people of all backgrounds and ages. However long it’s been since you first made your vows to each other and whatever life has thrown your way – you’re still in love and want to express this to those who matter. I am a strongly empathic Celebrant and therefore I’m able to actively listen to you – in order to understand exactly what you would like in your ceremony. Being a mature lady, with a wealth of real life experience, I have a great sense of fun and a love of special occasions. I am very determined to give you the most delightful of celebrations on your special day.
It would be my great honour to share the life experiences you have had and tell of your love in the past, present and future….
You will fall in love all over again! This will be a day to remember, memories to cherish and guests who will be completely wowed!

Price includes:
(* Celebrant’s travel expenses are included up to 20 miles from Sedgefield, in Co Durham – outside of this area is charged at £0.50 per mile. Rehearsal is usually unnecessary however this can be arranged if required dependent on location at an additional cost of £30 per hour plus mileage - if applicable).
